Participation and Registration for non-exempted Sector Members<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In reference to letter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/md\/S25-DM-CIR-1006\/en\" rel=\"noopener\">DM-25\/1006<\/a>, and pursuant to No. 476 of the Convention and Article 6, paragraphs 1b) and 5b) of the Financial Regulations, effective participation of non-exempted Sector Member is subject to the payment of the contributory unit, which is set at CHF 7 991.60. Payment of this contributory unit is strictly required before the entity can access the registration system. The contributory unit covers the effective participation of all delegates from the same entity, whether participating physically or remotely.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The list of exempted entities can be found <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/hub\/membership\/our-members\/exempted-entities\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.itu.int\/hub\/membership\/our-members\/exempted-entities\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Registration process<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1: Express interest<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong>The Designated Registration Focal Point (DRFP) must send an official email<\/strong> to <a href=\"mailto:sg-registration@itu.int\">sg-registration@itu.int<\/a> declaring the organization\u2019s decision to attend PP-26.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li><strong>This message must include the following details:<\/strong> Organization name, billing address and contact details for the billing contact.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>SG Registration will verify your non-exempt status and coordinate with ITU Finance to issue the applicable invoice.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 2: Invoice and payment<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>ITU Finance will issue an invoice to your billing contact containing full bank transfer details and instructions.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>The preferred payment method prior to the event is via bank transfer. You must ensure that all bank and intermediary fees are covered so the full invoiced amount is received by ITU. Please account for bank processing times, which may vary by country.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Registration cannot proceed until ITU Finance has received and confirmed full payment. There is no strict deadline for bank transfers, but delays will block registration access and badge issuance. Hence organisations are encouraged to proceed for payment as soon as possible, before the PP-26 starts.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3: Final confirmation of participation<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Upon confirmation of payment by ITU Finance, SG Registration will enable your organization in the PP-26 registration system.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>All delegates wishing to participate in the Conference must have an ITU user account and complete the online registration form. Role of the designated registration focal point<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The organization\u2019s&nbsp;<strong>Designated Registration Focal Point<\/strong>&nbsp;is responsible for:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Confirming the organization\u2019s participation and agreement to the organization\u2011level payment.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Coordinate with the billing contact and monitor the invoice and payment process.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Review and approve individual participant registrations after payment has been confirmed.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Serve as the primary contact for registration questions or discrepancies.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4. Cancellations and refunds<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Any refund of the contributory fee is subject to review and a separate decision by ITU based on defined criteria. SG Registration will verify attendance records, document the case, and coordinate with ITU Finance to process the refund, which will only be paid after the conclusion of PP-26.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>Organizations that decide not to participate should inform ITU as early as possible so that existing registrations can be cancelled and the organization removed from the event setup.<\/li>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<li>If an organization pays but does not participate (no badge printed or scanned, and no remote connection), or if a paid Sector Member later joins a Member State delegation instead of participating as a Sector Member, the entity may request a refund.<\/li>\n<\/div><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"ituContainer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
